About the function
As shovel machine operator at our client's location in Vijfhuizen, you are part of the bigger picture. The mission is to contribute to a sustainable living environment by recycling responsibly and environmentally consciously. In this role, you work with both the crane and the shovel.
In this role, you handle the loading of various containers, vehicles, and machines and feeding the installations. You are actively involved in the process, if you see areas for improvement in the installation or processes, it is expected that you discuss this. You not only operate the vehicle but are also responsible for maintaining and cleaning it daily. You have technical insight and enjoy the challenge of efficiently carrying out the work with your colleagues. When the situation requires it, you help your colleagues on other machines.
In addition to these tasks, you will also be involved in the acceptance of waste materials, assisting customers and helping them find their way around the location.
This position is from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00.
What we offer
- You will receive an attractive salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement for professional goods transport scale E, between € 2,918 and € 3,692 gross per month, depending on your age and experience;
- A pension scheme and travel allowance of €0.23 per km. You will receive 25 vacation days and 4 ADV days;

What we need
- You have extensive work experience as a crane and shovel machine operator;
- Experience in maintaining the machines;
- You have a VCA diploma or are willing to obtain one;
- You are willing to work occasionally on Saturdays.
