Which operator training programs are available?
Do you not yet have a diploma (at least a VMBO or MBO level 1 diploma) but want to start an operator training program? Then you can begin with the Assistant Process Technology course. During this program, you’ll learn to:
- Operate simple machines and equipment
- Assist with more complex systems
- Work safely and complete tasks responsibly
In addition, you’ll follow courses in Dutch, mathematics and citizenship to strengthen your overall skills.

- Duration: 1 year
- Start: flexible
- Work: you work 4 days a week and attend school 1 day a week
- Class location: Zaandam
Operator A
Do you have a VMBO or MBO level 1 diploma? Then the Operator A training program might be perfect for you. In this course, you’ll learn:
- How a product is made, from raw material to finished product
- How to keep the production process running smoothly from start to finish
- How to take samples and perform measurements
- How to identify and solve malfunctions
Practical information:
- Duration: 2 years
- Start: flexible
- Work: you work 4 days a week and attend school 1 day a week
- Class location: Zaandam
