About the function
As a production cook at B-Lokall B.V. in IJmuiden, you work in a modern food production kitchen where you are responsible for preparing hot and cold dishes according to fixed recipes daily. You collaborate with an enthusiastic team led by the head chef, where you not only cook but also assist in processing, checking, and packaging products. The production is large: sometimes you make up to 2000 kilos per day, so precision and efficiency are important. Keeping equipment and machines clean is part of the job, as is following strict hygiene and HACCP guidelines. Your day often begins with reviewing the production schedule, after which you start independently with the preparations. You regularly consult with colleagues about the process and actively think about improvements.
The working hours are from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00.
