In this role, you will work in a small team in a factory kitchen in Zaandam, with an hourly wage of €14.99 plus a 5-shift allowance on top. You will work 32.5 hours per week. You can grow into a lead operator position.
About the function
You will work in the production of savory flavorings for snacks, soups, sauces and more. Your day begins with a handover from your colleagues on the previous shift. Then you collect raw materials, set up the machines and start production. In between, you record what has been produced, check the quality and take product samples.
Part of the work is automated, but sometimes it is simply manual work. This can be physically demanding, especially when working shifts. If there is a minor malfunction, you either fix it yourself or consult the lead operator. You solve it together with your colleagues. The atmosphere is informal and people work hard.
You will work a 5-shift rotation: 06:50-14:50, 15:00-23:00 and 22:50-06:50.

What we need
- Work and thinking level of MBO 2 (vocational education level 2), Vapro A or Vapro B
- A few years of work experience, preferably in the food industry
- You are able to work in a 5-shift rotation
- You speak Dutch or English

This company makes savory flavorings for food manufacturers around the world. It is an independent company with approximately 80 employees, most of whom work in production. Due to growth, the company is looking for several people. As an operator, you will work under ISO and FSSC22000 certification.
