About the function
As a wood production employee with forklift certificate, you work independently at your own workstation and are responsible for manufacturing various wooden products, from customized crates to pallets and crates. In this role, you are responsible for moving the products on the outdoor site and loading/unloading the goods for shipment to customers using the forklift. Additionally, you receive a work order, often with drawings, to follow. You are also responsible for:
- Cutting wood to the required dimensions and quantities;
- Planing, drilling holes, and adding text to the pallets when necessary;
- Assembling products, often using pneumatic tackers, screws, or construction adhesive.
