In this role, you work as an operator within a close-knit team and operate modern production lines. You ensure a smooth production process, perform quality checks, and handle minor malfunctions yourself. You will work in a professional environment focused on teamwork, quality, and development.
About the function
As an operator, you are responsible for ensuring the production process runs smoothly and for managing your production line. You start up and set up the production lines and continuously monitor the process, making timely adjustments to ensure quality and progress. You work closely with colleagues on the line and coordinate the work, whilst also actively participating in the production process yourself. This means weighing and packaging products in accordance with the set guidelines and ensuring that the correct packaging materials are available on time and are replaced as needed.
Quality is central to your work. You carry out various checks, such as oxygen and allergen measurements and checks on metal detection and product weights. In addition, you are responsible for the correct setting and cleaning of print coding and labelling equipment. In the event of malfunctions, you take immediate action: you resolve minor technical issues independently, whilst calling in the technical department for more complex faults. You analyse disruptions in the process and actively contribute ideas for structural improvements, including through participation in improvement teams.
Finally, you ensure that the production line is thoroughly cleaned at the end of the working day and is ready for the next production run.
