As a green maintenance worker, you work 36 hours a week outdoors to create a neat and green living environment in and around Zaandam. About the function
As a green maintenance worker, you start your day on-site with colleagues. Together, you work on maintaining and developing public gardens, parks, and green strips in Zaandam, Krommenie, or Assendelft. You ensure that everything looks neat and well-kept so that everyone can enjoy a beautiful and clean living environment. Besides green maintenance, you occasionally help the team clean up litter to keep the parks and squares clean. You work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and have regular contact with residents, entrepreneurs, and the local municipality. Do you have a lot of experience? Then you can take on a role in guiding other employees and supporting the foreperson. Every day brings something different, and your efforts are visible to everyone in the neighborhood.
