Orderpicker - Weesp

Our partner, your future employer, is a manufacturer of automotive parts. In the warehouse you are the link. You start your career in the "Outgoing" department. Here you will zigzag between the tables using a hand pump truck with a crate, looking for the right products and parts with the help of a hand scanner. When your order is complete, you bring it to the workstation where it is made ready for shipment. The way of packing and shipping can differ per car brand to whom they deliver. This work can be physically intense, you frequently bend over while collecting parts. And some weigh more than others. 

If you show that you excel in this, there is the possibility to grow into the "Orderpick" department where you will also be trained as a forklift truck driver. The orderpickers are responsible for the supply of parts for the department "Outgoing". This is also done with the help of hand scanners.

After this there is another step possible, where you come to work in the department "Incoming". Here you will also receive further training, this time with "Combitruck certificate". In this role you are responsible for unloading incoming goods and driving them to the right places. It may happen that you first place the goods in a temporary place, have to create space in the right racks and then drive the products away properly. 

This job is ideal for starters in logistics. Experience is a plus, the will to work is more important!

As mentioned, they produce car parts. They do this mainly in Japan. The work happens in informal, approachable atmospheres.
