Over de functie
Do you love working outside and enjoy having people around you all day? Are you the tidy and neat host/hostess that would make you happy as a tourist? You can actually work in the most beautiful spot in the Zaanstreek!
As a facility worker, you are responsible for the restroom buildings. You make sure the toilets are clean and tidy so that the guests can use them in a pleasant way. You also take care of restocking necessary items and cleaning products. Besides keeping the toilet groups clean, you are also the point of contact for the guests; in short, you enjoy a friendly chat. You assist the guests as a facility worker, and if they have questions or need directions, for example, you help them further. Therefore, it is important that you are proficient in the English language; if you speak multiple languages, that is naturally a great advantage.
Over het bedrijf
The Zaanse Schans is a unique village made up of wooden houses and windmills. People live and work at the Zaanse Schans, and it is visited by people from all over the world every day. In addition to wooden houses and windmills, there is a bakery museum, a cheese factory, a pewter foundry, barns, and workshops. There are also opportunities for bike rides or boat trips, and there's even a pancake restaurant.
